On Wednesday 24/07, we organised a group action and created a long thematic collage in a pedestrian street in the center of Mytilene.
People came to participate even without having previous experience, in order to create a long collage with guides our imagination and artistic disposition. The action was open to the public from the local community to the refugees and tourists.
Το Ouzo Fest 2019 πραγματοποιήθηκε σε συνεργασία με τον σύνδεσμο ποτοποιών Λέσβου και τον Δήμο Μυτιλήνης. Η Collage πιστή στις αρχές και στους σκοπούς της να ενώνει τους ανθρώπους, συμμετείχε ενεργά στο OUZO Fest 2019. Πρόκειται για ένα πολιτιστικό γεγονός που ανάδειξε τον πλούτο, την παραγωγή, την παράδοση και την φιλοξενία των κατοίκων της Λέσβου, μέσα από αυτό το προϊόν που, επί έναν αιώνα περίπου, είναι σήμα κατατεθέν της λεσβιακής γης.
Μια εβδομάδα γεμάτη πολιτιστικές δράσεις, που με την υποστήριξη και την συμβολή της Collage έφεραν κοντά τον ντόπιο πληθυσμό με τους επισκέπτες από πολλές χώρες μέσα από τις διάφορες δράσεις του OYZO Fest και ενδυνάμωσαν την συνοχή του πολυπολιτισμικού κράματος ανθρώπων που συμβαίνει να ζουν στην Αιολική Γη.

The “Ouzo Fest” took place in Mytilene, in collaboration with Lesvos distillers’ association. Collage participated in that cultural event in order to promote the local production, tradition and hospitality of the people of Lesvos. Ouzo has been a trademark of the Lesvos land for a century or so.
It was a week full of cultural activities with the support and contribution of Collage. We brought together the local population with visitors from many countries, through various activities of OYZO Fest, and strengthened the cohesion of the multicultural mix of people who happen to live in the Aeolian Land.
Ouzo (Greek: ούζο, IPA: [ˈuzo]) is a dry anise-flavored aperitif that is widely consumed in Greece. It is made from rectified spirits that have undergone a process of distillation and flavouring.

Η Collage συμμετείχε στην διημερίδα που πραγματοποίησε το γραφείο <<Δημιουργική Ευρώπη 2014-2020>> στις 16 και 17 Απριλίου 2019 στη Λέσβο, με τίτλο << Πολιτισμός και Ευκαιρίες Χρηματοδότησης μέσω Ευρωπαϊκών Προγραμμάτων>>.
Ο κύριος στόχος ήταν να αποκτήσουν οι πολιτιστικοί και δημιουργικοί φορείς τις πληροφορίες και την τεχνογνωσία ώστε να παράγουν με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο τα projects που ετοιμάζει η <<Δημιουργική Ευρώπη>>, αναφορικά με τις πολιτιστικές δράσεις στη Λέσβο, αρχικά, και στη συνέχεια σε άλλες χώρες. Σημαντική αναφορά υπήρξε στην ανάπτυξη του πολιτιστικού τουρισμού στο νησί της Λέσβου αλλά και την διάδοση και εφαρμογή των δυνατοτήτων της τέχνης του κολλάζ.
Την πρώτη ημέρα έγινε συνάντηση Πολιτιστικών και Δημιουργικών Φορέων Λέσβου στο Μουσείο Βιομηχανικής Ελαιουργίας Λέσβου, με εισηγήσεις ομιλητών πάνω στην :
Την δεύτερη μέρα επισκεφθήκαμε το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Μυτιλήνης, όπου έγινε η παρουσίαση των Ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων που χρηματοδοτούν τον πολιτισμό όπως τα:
Οι εκπρόσωποι των προγραμμάτων μετά τις παρουσιάσεις συζήτησαν με τους συμμετέχοντες και έδωσαν πρακτικές συμβουλές για τις διαδικασίες και ενέργειες που απαιτούνται ώστε να μπορέσουν να προκύψουν Ευρωπαϊκές χρηματοδοτήσεις.

Collage participated in a two-day conference held by the department of the cultural and audiovisual sector “Creative Europe 2014-2020”. The event that took place in Lesvos on 16-17 April 2019, was entitled “Culture and Funding Opportunities through European Programmes”.
The main objective was for the cultural and creative agencies to acquire the information and know-how, in order to implement projects financed by the “Creative Europe 2014-2020”, in the best possible way. An important reference was made to the development of cultural tourism on the island of Lesvos, but also to the knowledge spreading of the art of collage.
On the first day, there was a meeting of Cultural and Creative Organisations of Lesvos at the Museum of Industrial Olive Production of Lesvos, followed by a presentation on:
On the second day we visited the Archaeological Museum of Mytilene, where took place a presentation of various European programmes, through which cultural events are being financed:
The hosts of the event discussed with the participants and gave practical advice on the procedures and actions which are required to be able to obtain European fundings.

Σας παρουσιάζουμε το συμμετοχικό κολλάζ που δημιουργήθηκε στα πλαίσια της έκθεσης C.R.A.T.E art refugee exhibition (12/12/2018). Περισσότεροι απο 50 άνθρωποι συμμετείχαν κατά την διάρκεια του workshop χωρίς προηγούμενη εμπειρία και δημιούργησαν ένα μακρύ φωτογραφικό κολλάζ πάνω από 4 μέτρα.
Ήταν μια ξεχωριστή στιγμή για μας, τόσοι άνθρωποι από διαφορετικές εθνότητες και κουλτούρες , με μόνο εφόδιο την διάθεση τους για συνδημιουργία και έκφραση, διάλεγαν,έκοβαν και κολλούσαν φωτογραφίες φτιάχνοντας καινούργιες συνθέσεις.

CRATE – Center for Refugee Art Technology & Environment organised a Refugee Art Exhibition, curated and produced by unaccompanied minors in Lesvos, participating in LATRA‘s educational activities. The exhibition featured artwork by local and refugee artists and also a Live Collage Workshop facilitated by Collage. The 4-meter long collage was produced by locals and refugees in Lesvos, and then traveled to Athens, for the participants there to continue. The Refugee Art Exhibition was hosted in Earth and kindly supported by Organization Earth. The project was funded by the European Cultural Foundation.
